CALL FOR PAPERS
The conference addresses current and future developments in the areas of Rehabilitation Engineering & Assistive Technology. Topic areas include, but not limited to:
- New rehabilitation techniques & studies, novel assistive technology products
- Assistive robotics, rehabilitative & therapeutic robotics, robotic environments and companions
- Biomedical devices and instruments
- Orthoses, exoskeletons, innovative mobility aids
- User interfaces, brain-computer interface, bio-signal control interface
- AAC products, studies & evaluations, translations
- Universal design, inclusive housing & work place, transportation, accessibility issues
- Smart home technology, environment control technology
- Computer access products, software, studies & evaluations
- Product development, commercialization, start-ups, and business related topics
- Social issues, policies, political issues related disability and aging population
Full Paper Submission Guidelines
- Papers should be original and not published in other conferences, journals, magazines, etc.
- Maximum of TWO (2) publications for AUTHORS (who are NOT full-time students, senior citizens – 65 yr & above and people with disability) registering for the conference. All authors have to register for the FULL PASS.
- Manuscripts MUST NOT EXCEED SIX (6) PAGES, in a double column format. SGD150 will be charged for EACH ADDITIONAL PAGE.
- For authors submitting MORE THAN TWO (2) PAPERS, SGD150 will be charged for EACH ADDITIONAL PAPER.
- Maximum of ONE (1) publication for full-time students, senior citizens – 65 yr & above and people with disability registering for the conference.
- Only electronic submission would be accepted.
All paper submissions are peer reviewed by the technical programme committee. Accepted work must be presented by one of the authors. The full conference papers will be published and indexed in ACM Digital Library and EI. Selected papers will be included in the Special Issue of Disability and Rehabilitation: Assistive Technology Journal published by Taylor & Francis (http://www.tandf.co.uk/journals/titles/17483107.asp).
Authors should adhere strictly to the format instructions. The organizing committee reserves the right to return accepted papers to the author(s) that do not fully comply strictly with the format instructions given below.
The final manuscript MUST use the exact ACM SIG templates. Please find the template HERE.
